Netmarble has unveiled Vampir, an upcoming MMORPG for PC and mobile platforms. The title is defined by a grim, violent atmosphere centered on themes of blood, horror, and sexuality, set within a gothic world devoid of traditional heroes.
Gameplay mechanics feature five distinct classes, all of which focus exclusively on damage output. Players must utilize their vampire abilities to absorb essence for healing purposes. Progression emphasizes grinding and active gameplay to empower characters rather than purchasing upgrade materials.
The game includes significant PvE content alongside a large-scale open PvP battlefield called Gehenna. To prevent dominance by a single group, server populations within this PvP zone are rotated on a periodic basis.
Vampir is scheduled for a global release on Tuesday, October 27th, across PC via the Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android. Pre-downloading begins on Monday, October 26th, with incentives available for those who pre-register.
