Xiaomi has officially announced the upcoming 2027 update for its Redmi Book laptop series. According to the company's Weibo account, the Redmi Book 14 and the Redmi Book 16 are scheduled for release on October 27.
The new laptops will be powered by Intel's Wildcat Lake Core Series 3 processors, with the Core 5 320 confirmed for the 14-inch model. The devices will utilize LPDDR5X-7467 RAM, with at least one 16 GB configuration available. Additionally, the Redmi Book 14 2027 features a 2.8K resolution display.
Xiaomi claims the 72 Wh battery provides over 20 hours of office usage and up to 1.26 days of local video playback. The design includes a fingerprint reader above the keyboard and a minimalist aesthetic with rounded corners, reminiscent of recent MacBook models.
Despite the slim design, the laptop retains several ports, including dual USB Type-A, a full-size HDMI, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and two USB Type-C ports. International availability and pricing remain unconfirmed at this time.
