The exploit, identified as ns2jb, was developed with assistance from OpenAI’s Codex. It functions as a software-only, tethered jailbreak, necessitating that users trigger the exploit through a game each time the console is powered on.
The process currently utilizes SmileBASIC 4 to facilitate the jailbreak, although another modder has contested the necessity of that specific title.
