AdHoc Studio is celebrating the first anniversary of its narrative adventure Dispatch, which has now surpassed 5 million players. The developer announced a significant content update alongside plans to bring the superhero workplace comedy to mobile platforms.

The update introduces a Commentary Mode featuring over 16 hours of insights from cast members including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Erin Yvette. Additionally, a new Storyboard Mode allows players to view the game through original animatics, with the option to combine both features. These additions are included for Deluxe Edition owners, while Standard Edition users can upgrade for $10.99.

Dispatch will launch on Android and iOS on Dec. 9, featuring a version rebuilt for touch controls and vertical play. The mobile release includes support for Google Play Games on PC, with the first four episodes offered for free and the full experience priced at $19.99.

Polygon's Josh Broadwell praised the title, noting that it captures the personality of protagonist Robert Robertson III to perfection. Beyond the game, AdHoc Studio is hosting a live concert on Dec. 3 in Los Angeles and releasing physical merchandise, including a hardcover design book and vinyl soundtrack.
