Key information
The Epic Games Store has launched a new promotion ahead of Halloween, allowing users to claim two horror-themed titles at no cost. From October 22 until October 29, players can permanently add Sker Ritual and Home to their digital libraries by using a free account.
The two games offer distinct gameplay experiences within the horror genre. Sker Ritual is a cooperative shooter set in the Maid of Sker universe, featuring British-inspired horrors. Conversely, Home is a 2012 pixel-art title focused on solving a murder mystery where player choices dictate the narrative outcome.
Looking ahead, the platform will continue its horror theme next week. From October 29 to November 5, the store will offer Sorry We're Closed. Vandal previously reviewed this survival horror and narrative adventure hybrid, awarding it an 8.5 and recommending it to fans seeking a unique experience.
Since 2018, the Epic Games Store has utilized these weekly giveaways to compete with other digital storefronts. The current offer for Sker Ritual and Home remains available until 17:00 peninsular Spanish time on October 29.
