Recent market observations indicate significant pricing irregularities among Nvidia's current-generation graphics cards. According to PC Gamer, the price gap between the RTX 5050 and the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB has narrowed to just $70, a substantial deviation from their intended MSRPs.
The current retail landscape shows the cheapest RTX 5050 priced at $400, which exceeds its $249 MSRP and even surpasses the $379 MSRP of the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB. Meanwhile, the lowest available prices found for the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB are $420 and $470, respectively.
Higher-tier models face similar pricing challenges. The RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB is currently listed at $789, significantly higher than its $429 MSRP. Notably, this price point matches the $789 cost of the RTX 5070, creating a parity that complicates consumer value assessments.
PC Gamer reports that these price spikes have been tracked since August 14, 2025. Amidst these conditions, the publication suggests the RX 9070 GRE at $570 as a relatively stable alternative, noting it sits only $20 above its MSRP.
