The upcoming title World of Warcraft Forever is highlighting its new camping system as a core feature. This mechanic allows players to establish temporary sites centered around cooking fires to facilitate social interaction and character enhancement.
According to a developer blog from Blizzard, the system enables players to utilize various crafting profession items to provide specific buffs. As players reach higher cooking levels, they can expand their campsites to accommodate up to 10 objects, such as reagent bots, alchemy laboratories, and tanning racks.
Blizzard intends for these camps to serve as hubs where adventurers can rest and prepare after combat. The studio stated that the feature aims to foster connections between players who encounter one another while traveling through dangerous zones or pursuing shared quest objectives.
