Insomniac has introduced a comprehensive photo mode for Marvel’s Wolverine, building upon the studio's previous work in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. The toolset includes five independent light sources, a character mode for posing, and an action figure mode that shrinks Logan into a miniature version of himself.
The photo mode offers significant creative control, allowing players to adjust lighting intensity, color, and type, such as spheres or spotlights. Users can reposition the interface, utilize D-Pad shortcuts for quick access, and even reduce game speed by 30, 50, or 70 percent to capture precise action sequences.
Regarding character placement, the game allows for flexible movement of Logan and NPCs within a generous radius. While clipping between models can occur, the developer suggests using specific camera angles to hide these overlaps or intentionally embracing them for artistic effect. Players can also adjust blood levels and damage on Logan’s model.
After completing the game, players can access a chapter selection menu by visiting Logan’s bed in his cabin. This allows for revisiting various locations, from the snowy wilderness of Canada to the neon-lit streets of Madripoor, to utilize the photo mode across different environments.
