Developer Feel Free Games announced that the farming and exploration adventure game Luma Island will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 2. The title, which features farming, fishing, mining, and crafting, has already seen success on PC, where it holds a "Very Positive" rating on Steam.
Players manage a farm, build structures ranging from cottages to mansions, and explore diverse environments like forests, caves, and ancient temples. The game includes eight distinct professions, such as archaeologist and blacksmith, and allows players to hatch magical creatures called Luma that assist with exploration and treasure hunting.
The console release includes all previously released PC content, including the "Pirate's Cove" update which adds mini-games and challenges. Gameplay features no stamina or inventory limits, and users can choose between three difficulty modes: the combat-free "Cozy Mode," the balanced "Adventure Mode," and the challenging "Hero Mode."
The console version introduces cross-platform play, enabling up to four players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to adventure together. While pricing for the console versions remains unannounced, the PC version is currently available for 2200 yen. Additionally, a Steam bundle titled "Let’s Farm & Chill!" featuring Luma Island and Pathea Games' My Time at Sandrock is available.
