Bandai Namco Entertainment and Rebel Wolves released the first major update for the action RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker on October 22, 2026.
A significant change in this patch is the removal of gore and blood expression restrictions for the Japanese version of the game on Steam. While currently live on PC, the developers stated that equivalent updates for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are scheduled for early 2027.
The update introduces new gameplay features, including the ability for players to pet animals found within the game world. Additionally, a new item called the Potion of Mental Regeneration has been added, which allows users to reallocate their skill points.
Technical improvements are also included in this release. The developers have updated the frame generation functionality and implemented various adjustments to combat animations and camera behavior to refine the overall experience.
