ข้อมูลสำคัญ
HBO is currently developing a new television series centered on the DC Comics villain Poison Ivy. This project follows the ongoing expansion of DC Studios under the leadership of Peter Safran and James Gunn.
The network has tapped Lauren LeFranc to serve as a producer for the upcoming show. LeFranc previously acted as the showrunner and executive producer for The Penguin, a spin-off series that achieved critical and audience success in 2024 following the release of Matt Reeves' The Batman.
Despite LeFranc's involvement, the production will not be connected to the cinematic universe featuring Robert Pattinson. While Poison Ivy is a prominent antagonist in Batman lore, she has never previously served as the primary focus of a standalone film or television series.
Specific details regarding the casting, potential release date, or narrative direction remain undisclosed by HBO at this time.
