The Blood of Dawnwalker Patch 1.1 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This update introduces a variety of new features, including animal petting, animation adjustments, and improved targeting systems for combat.
Gameplay mechanics have been significantly expanded. Players can now choose a new Story mode that includes additional combat assist, alongside the existing Forgiving difficulty. Furthermore, the update adds a "Buyback" feature for merchants, controller deadzone settings, and the ability to equip items in both day and night presets simultaneously.
The patch addresses numerous technical and performance issues. Developers implemented updates to FrameGen technology and fixed various bugs, such as instances where players could fall through the map or get stuck during specific quests. Additionally, the update rebalances item upgrade costs and reduces the health of boars and wolves at higher levels to improve game balance.
The update is currently live across all supported platforms. Players can also utilize the new Draught of Mind Rebirth to reset their abilities, allowing for a different character build. These changes aim to refine the overall experience for users on all platforms.
