Philips Evnia has introduced the 36M4C5500P, a new gaming monitor featuring a 36-inch curved fast VA 1500R panel. This display offers an Ultra-Wide QHD resolution and an overclockable 260 Hz refresh rate, aiming to provide a middle ground between standard ultrawide monitors and larger TV-sized screens.
The monitor includes several performance-focused features, such as a 0.3 ms motion picture response time and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for improved contrast and color. Users can utilize AI-enhanced tools like Smart MBR Sync to reduce motion blur, alongside ShadowBoost, Smart Crosshair, and Smart Sniper modes to assist in FPS gameplay.
Connectivity options include dual HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4, with MultiView support for simultaneous dual-source viewing. The hardware also features an adjustable stand for height, swivel, and tilt, while the rear of the unit incorporates Iconglow, a customizable RGB lighting system characteristic of the Evnia M4 series.
The Philips Evnia 36M4C5500P is designed for modern gaming setups and will be available at select retailers. The manufacturer has confirmed that the monitor is scheduled for an official release within the APAC region.
