During the Paris Games Week 2026 event held in France, Capcom officially introduced Tankman, a new boss character for the upcoming title Mega Man: Dual Override.
Footage showcased on the CapcomFrance Twitch channel highlights the character's distinct red, cylindrical body and its ability to emit smoke from its arms. In combat, Tankman utilizes a sliding movement pattern to charge across muddy terrain.
The game features side-scrolling action where players choose between Mega Man and Proto Man. Key mechanics include the Override System, which allows characters to exceed their limits, and a Custom Chip System designed to modify character performance.
Mega Man: Dual Override is scheduled for release in 2027. The title will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
