Ghost Galaxy, Inc. has officially announced a partnership with Universal and Fantasy Flight Games to produce a brand-new edition of the acclaimed Battlestar Galactica board game. This project marks a return for the hidden-role title originally designed by Corey Konieczka.
The developer is currently refining the design of the original 2008 release. Christian T. Petersen, CEO of Ghost Galaxy, stated that the team is dedicated to enhancing the existing game design while honoring the beloved characters and narrative of the series.
Bill Altig, SVP of Narrative Games at Fantasy Flight Games, expressed enthusiasm regarding the collaboration. He noted that the company is eager to see the classic title return to print under the stewardship of Ghost Galaxy.
Fans of the original game, which famously challenged players to identify hidden Cylons, can expect the new version to arrive via a crowdfunding campaign scheduled for early 2027.
