On the 21st, SOOP signed a formal agreement with Jeungpyeong County to promote regional culture and content development. The partnership, formalized at the Kim Deuk-sin Literature Museum, involves SOOP CEO Lee Min-won and Jeungpyeong County Governor Lee Jae-young.
The collaboration aims to merge Jeungpyeong's cultural and industrial resources with SOOP's platform capabilities. SOOP will leverage its streamer network to produce content, while the county provides access to local facilities and resources to support these initiatives.
Planned activities include relay busking, regional festival coverage, and live events. These programs are designed to foster interaction between local residents, streamers, and online users. The organizations previously collaborated on a relay busking event in September.
To mark the signing, the official SOOP music program 'Amuso' was held at the Jeungpyeong Culture Center. Both officials expressed optimism that this partnership will revitalize the region by showcasing its unique stories and cultural assets to a broader digital audience.
