Following its successful launch on October 8 and reaching the number one spot in Google Play revenue, Dokkaebi World has announced a series of major content updates scheduled from November through January. The developers aim to maintain this momentum by introducing new gameplay elements monthly to ensure long-term engagement.
The update roadmap includes the 'Dimension Occupation War' in November, where servers compete for control over 100 fields to earn points and rewards. December will introduce 4-on-4 real-time duels and a new 'Folktale' season based on the story of 'Good Brothers.' By January, the game will expand with life content such as cooking, fishing, and gathering, alongside a marriage system and the first 'Transcendence' growth phase.
To prevent player burnout, the developers are implementing a seasonal rotation system for raids and folktale content rather than permanent accumulation. Additionally, the 'Dokkaebi Assembly' will launch in November, allowing players to submit and vote on suggestions, which the development team will then review and address.
Further additions include a winter-themed region with hot springs, guild hideouts, and various mini-games like snowball fights and puzzle-based challenges. While specific release dates for features like gender-swapping remain unconfirmed, the team continues to refine the game based on user feedback to solidify its market position.
