Arc System Works Asia has officially released the simulation RPG Demon's Night Fever on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam as of the 22nd. The title centers on a narrative where a reaper named Gigasgoides, currently in the form of an infant, seeks to regain his power and defeat a false god.
The gameplay features a unique RTA simulation structure built around the concept of enjoying evil deeds. Players utilize a subordinate exploitation system that involves sacrificing allies during combat, alongside an evil point mechanic that strengthens the protagonist as they perform more wicked actions.
Development was led by producer and scenario writer Sohei Niikawa, with character designs by Yuji Himukai, music by Tatsuya Yano, and a theme song by syudou. Additionally, the company is publishing an eight-part webcomic titled Demon's Night Fever Started, which depicts the humorous encounter between the programmer Kyoshiro and the reaper.
To celebrate the Korean language release, a social media event runs from the 22nd through November 8. Participants who post proof of purchase and congratulatory messages can win an acrylic stand set. Winners will be announced on November 11 via official channels.
