Microsoft has officially detailed the pricing for its upcoming cloud gaming service, which allows users to stream titles without requiring a Game Pass subscription. The service is currently available to Xbox Insiders, with a broader rollout scheduled for all players in November.
The company has introduced several tiered options for ad-free stream time. Customers can purchase 10 hours for $3.99, 25 hours for $7.99, or 50 hours for $11.99.
Despite the paid nature of these packs, Microsoft notes that users may still experience wait times during peak periods, although these delays are expected to be shorter than those found on the free version of the service.
The service will include monthly time limits, a decision attributed to the significant server, compute, and bandwidth costs associated with cloud infrastructure. While reports suggest a 15-hour cap exists for Game Pass Ultimate users due to profitability concerns, Microsoft maintains that only a small portion of players will be impacted by these restrictions.
