Key information

Independent developer Morph has unveiled Trillionaire Mercenaries of 21XX, a third-person stealth adventure set in a flooded, post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future. Players assume the role of a mercenary hired by a billionaire to recover a laptop, a task that quickly escalates beyond a simple job. The developer emphasizes that all art, music, text, and voice acting in the project were created without the use of generative AI.

The gameplay features an open world spanning islands, arctic vaults, and futuristic cities. Players can utilize tools like tranquilizer guns, optical camouflage, and facial scanning for disguises to complete over 20 main missions. Capturing characters during these operations allows players to unlock more than 100 playable individuals.

Traversal options include hang gliders and light-cycle motorcycles. The title supports local split-screen cooperative play, enabling coordinated base infiltrations or combat, alongside online competitive and racing modes. Additionally, the game includes a functional digital audio workstation.

Trillionaire Mercenaries of 21XX is scheduled for release on November 9, 2027, for Windows and macOS via Steam, with support for nine languages including Traditional Chinese. A browser-based demo, currently available in English only, is accessible now.
