Razer has officially introduced the Kraken Kitty V3, a wired headset tailored for streamers. This latest addition to the Kraken Kitty series features the brand's signature stream-reactive kitty ears and earcups, both integrated with Razer Chroma RGB lighting to enhance visual engagement during broadcasts.
The device utilizes Razer TriForce 40 mm drivers to provide detailed audio and sound separation. For communication, it includes a HyperClear Cardioid Mic designed to capture voices clearly while reducing ambient noise. Users also benefit from 7.1 Surround Sound, which aims to improve positional awareness during gaming sessions.
Customization is a core focus, with 16.8 million colors available through Razer Chroma RGB. The Streamer Companion app allows creators to sync lighting effects with chat activity, emotes, and alerts. Additionally, the headset features hybrid fabric and leatherette cushions for comfort and passive noise isolation.
The Kraken Kitty V3 connects via a fixed USB Type-C cable, supporting PC and mobile devices. For use outside of gaming setups, such as at conventions, users can power the RGB lighting by connecting the cable to a portable power bank. Three onboard presets allow for quick adjustments to lighting effects while on the go.
