The Dandadan Animation Works Exhibition is set to launch its first overseas tour at Taipei's Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Co-organized by United Daily News Group and Muse Communication, the event will run from December 25, 2026, to April 6, 2027. Beyond featuring content from the Japanese tour, the Taiwan exhibition will debut exclusive, globally unseen animation scenes.
The exhibition focuses on the animation production process, detailing four key stages: storyboarding and character design, 3D CG and drawing, art background and color photography, and sound design. Visitors can explore how the series' high-speed, impactful visual style is constructed from initial concepts to final production.
Attendees can experience immersive recreations of iconic moments, such as the basement where Evil Eye is sealed and the battle involving Momo Ayase and Turbo Granny. The display also includes a large-scale Great Kinta Bodhisattva ver.Z model, utilizing special effects-style production to bring surreal elements of the show into a physical space.
Advance tickets go on sale October 29 at 12:00 PM via the udn ticketing platform, with a discounted price of 390 TWD compared to the 450 TWD original price. Various collector sets, including double-person commemorative tickets and light box sets, will be available. The venue will also feature exclusive merchandise alongside limited imports from the Japanese exhibition.
