The rhythm game NeXor¡a, developed by a team from Ming Chuan University, secured the bronze award at the Bahamut ACG 2026 competition. Set in a futuristic world divided by class, the game follows a traveling circus troupe. Players collect story fragments by completing songs to uncover the world's lore.

NeXor¡a features a unique mechanic where a rotating cube serves as the judgment line. Inspired by Phigros, the developers aimed to create a high-performance visual experience. To ensure precise timing, the team built a custom chart editor, allowing them to align notes with music beats and refine visual feedback, including rainbow hit effects.

Judges praised the game for its clever use of the rotating cube, which enhances traditional input mechanics and leverages tablet touch controls. The circus-themed aesthetic was noted for its high consistency and visual impact. However, the developers acknowledged areas for improvement, including minor latency in hit sounds, the need for more complex visuals, and bugs within the chart editor.

Currently, the team is participating in Gameworks Lab 2026. While not all original members remain, the project continues with the goal of refining gameplay and visuals for a future release on application stores.
