The Uma Musume World Tour performance in Los Angeles has been officially cancelled. Cygames confirmed that the event, which was set to feature 17 voice actors and singers, could not proceed because the performers failed to obtain the necessary entry visas.
Organizers stated they had been working with local agencies and legal representatives for over six months to secure the required documentation. Despite these efforts, the production team ultimately determined that the show could not move forward without the essential visas.
Cygames announced on the 21st that they will compensate attendees for travel and lodging expenses. This includes covering cancellation fees for transportation and accommodation, as well as supporting costs for those who had already arrived in Los Angeles, provided they meet specific criteria.
To receive reimbursement, attendees must provide detailed documentation, such as receipts showing payment and purpose of use. Cygames advised fans to retain all travel records and noted that further instructions regarding the application process and specific eligibility standards will be posted on the official event website.
