Mob Entertainment released the early access version of Escape From Playtime on Steam on October 22, 2026. The title is priced at 1390 yen including tax, though a launch sale offers a 10 percent discount until November 5, bringing the cost to 1251 yen.
Set within the Poppy Playtime universe, this cooperative survival horror extraction game tasks players with navigating the terrors of the Playtime Co. factory. Participants experience the environment from the perspective of the Smiling Critters, the unsettling toys introduced in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3.
The early access build features all eight Smiling Critters, though four must be unlocked through gameplay progression. Additionally, players can claim a free Founders' Pack during the first 30 days following the launch.
Looking ahead, the developer intends to expand the game continuously. Future updates are planned to introduce new areas, enemies, and items to the experience.
