Microsoft is expanding access to Xbox Cloud Gaming this November, allowing users to play without an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. The company has introduced a pay-as-you-go model that lets players purchase specific bundles of cloud playtime.

The new pricing structure begins at $3.99 for 10 hours of access. These purchased hours are not monthly subscriptions; instead, they remain available for use until the entire pack is exhausted. Xbox Insiders without Game Pass can begin purchasing these bundles immediately.

Purchased bundles include benefits such as ad-free gaming, reduced wait times, and higher-quality streaming. Additionally, Microsoft is testing a separate, free ad-supported tier for Xbox Insiders that allows streaming of games already owned by the user, though these sessions are limited to one hour.

While the service will support Grand Theft Auto VI, Microsoft chief strategy officer Matthew Ball indicated that streaming for this title will not be available on PCs, potentially restricting access to specific console hardware.
