Wizards of the Coast is set to expand its Universes Beyond collection with a new Star Trek set, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026. This collection draws inspiration from various eras of the franchise, ranging from the original series to Deep Space 9 and Lower Decks.
The reveal includes the artifact 'Tea, Earl Grey, Hot,' a 2-mana Food card that provides a card upon entry. Players can sacrifice it to gain 3 life or deal 2 damage to an opponent. Another featured card, Mirror Universe Intrusion, is a sorcery that allows players to copy an opponent's creature with menace, or copy their entire board for a total cost of nine mana.
Other additions include Dahar Master, a 4-mana 4/3 creature capable of sacrificing nonland permanents to deal damage, and Unexplored Wilds. While these cards may offer utility during draft or prerelease events, they are characterized as likely candidates for bulk collections shortly after release.
Mirror Universe Intrusion will feature 'booster fun' treatments, including borderless and showcase styles. This set follows the recent announcement of Darkhold Destiny and is positioned as a significant entry in the 2026 Universes Beyond lineup, with potential impacts on various artifact-focused deck strategies.
