Key information
Blizzard has officially released the latest Hearthstone expansion, Rise of the Black Empire. This update introduces 135 collectible cards and depicts the epic conflict between the Old Gods and the Titan-forged creations.
Players can now command the Old Gods C'Thun, N'Zoth, Yogg-Saron, or Y'Shaarj at the height of their power. Each deity features four unique abilities capable of shifting the tide of battle. Due to their immense strength, players are restricted to including only one Old God per deck, requiring strategic selection.
The expansion introduces the Assemble keyword, allowing players to construct minions from a curated pool to create powerful combinations. Additionally, players can utilize Titan-forged cards, which provide new tactical tools and defensive capabilities specifically designed to counter the Old Gods and their armies.
A new feature called Journeys has been added to the Hearthstone Journal, integrating stories, quests, rewards, and events into a cohesive adventure. Furthermore, Blizzard announced an upcoming celebrity tournament featuring players such as Xi Ling Heng, Tommy, Qi Li Duan Jin, and Zek. The matches are scheduled for broadcast on October 24 at 6 and October 31 at 6.
