Developer Timon Herzog announced that the mobile version of the agricultural programming game 'Autonauts' (known in Japan as '農家は Replace() されました') will be released on iOS and Android on November 2. This mobile launch will also include the new downloadable content titled '鉱夫はReplaceされました()_'.

The core gameplay involves automating farm tasks by programming drones using a simple language similar to Python. Players write code to manage crop cultivation and harvesting, using gathered resources to unlock advanced technologies. While the game introduces basic programming concepts, players must independently determine solutions for each task, offering a significant challenge even for experienced programmers.

The new DLC expands the experience by adding mining upgrades for drones. Players must program their units to explore underground, optimize excavation routes, and manage eight new resources like coal, quartz, and mushrooms. Additional challenges include solving minesweeper-style puzzles without detonating drones and carefully extracting ancient ruins.

The PC version currently holds an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' status on Steam, based on over 9400 reviews with a 95% approval rating. While the PC version allows users to edit code in external editors like Visual Studio Code, the mobile release aims to bring this automation experience to handheld devices starting November 2.
