Pearl Abyss released a preview video for Unknown Journey, the first DLC for Crimson Desert Enhanced, on the 21st. The expansion is scheduled for a simultaneous global release on the 30th.
The update introduces oceanic exploration and underwater mechanics. Players can construct custom ships to navigate the seas, discover islands, and defeat hostile factions to establish outposts. Additionally, players can craft diving suits to explore sunken ruins and gather resources beneath the waves.
New social and management features allow players to build relationships with characters, including options for romance and marriage. Furthermore, players can manage facilities to accumulate wealth and utilize an expanded housing system that permits structural design changes and interior customization.
