Tru Blu Games officially unveiled Don Bradman Cricket Jr on October 14, 2026. The title is an arcade-style cricket game coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, though no specific release date has been confirmed yet.
The game features quick matches, tournaments, and challenges, alongside split-screen multiplayer and AI-versus-AI modes. Players can customize match settings and adjust difficulty levels independently for batting and bowling. Progress can be saved and resumed, and the game includes 20 generic national teams.
According to an IGN report, the game lacks official team or player licenses. Players can unlock Sir Donald Bradman as a captain for the generic Australian team by completing the Bradman Challenge Round, which also grants access to a minigame based on his historical training methods.
This release represents a shift toward an arcade-focused approach, drawing comparisons to the 2018 title Big Bash Boom. While Big Ant Studios has largely prioritized simulation-based cricket games in recent years, this new project aims to offer a different experience for fans of the sport.
