Progression relies on completing DMZ Orders, which serve as tutorial-style missions that grant essential XP for ranking up and unlocking gear. Additionally, players manage a home base called the FOB, where they can utilize a 3D Printer station at level 2 to purchase storage expansions and bank upgrades using cash.
To mitigate the risk of losing valuable items, the game allows users to select free loadouts. This option is recommended for players who wish to preserve high-tier loot or lack spare equipment while scavenging for crafting materials.
