Publisher Tru Blu Games has officially announced Don Bradman Cricket Jr., a new arcade-style cricket title. The game is confirmed for release on PC via Steam, as well as on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Nintendo eShop. While the publisher describes the launch as being imminent, no specific release date has been set.

The title focuses on fast-paced matches, tournaments, and various challenges. Gameplay features include split-screen support for two players, the ability to watch AI-controlled teams compete, and a save-and-resume function for ongoing matches. Players can adjust batting and bowling difficulty separately, and the game includes 20 generic national teams.

A notable feature allows players to unlock Sir Donald Bradman as captain of the generic Australian team by completing the Bradman Challenge Round. This achievement also grants access to a minigame based on Bradman's historical training method of hitting a golf ball against a water tank. According to an IGN report, the game does not feature other official team or player licenses.

Tru Blu Games announced the title on October 14, 2026, with IGN providing additional details on October 18, 2026. This release marks a return to the arcade style previously seen in the 2018 title Big Bash Boom, as the developer has recently focused on simulation-based cricket games.
