Arrowhead Game Studios has officially released Helldivers 2 update 7.2.0, titled Devoid of Liberty. The update was announced via the game's official Steam news channel on October 20, 2026.
The patch arrived alongside the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond. This Warbond, which was previously teased to include new laser, bolt-action, and antimateriel rifles, had been announced on October 13, 2026, one week prior to the coordinated launch.
While the announcement confirmed the release, it did not provide specific patch notes or clarify if the Warbond is technically integrated into the update. Promotional material for the release included a trailer titled Devoid of Liberty, which was featured on the game's Steam store page.
