Tru Blu Games has officially announced Don Bradman Cricket Jr, an arcade-inspired cricket title coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will be available via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Nintendo eShop, and Steam.
The gameplay features quick matches, tournaments, and AI-controlled opponents. Players can utilize split-screen for two-player sessions, save and resume matches, and adjust difficulty settings independently for bowlers and batters. The title includes 20 generic international teams, though IGN reports that no other official player or team licenses are included.
A specific progression system allows players to unlock Sir Donald Bradman as a captain for the generic Australian team by completing the Bradman Challenge Round. This achievement also grants access to a minigame inspired by Bradman's historical training method of hitting a golf ball against a water tank.
While the game was announced on October 14, 2026, Tru Blu Games has not yet confirmed a specific release date. The project marks a shift toward an arcade-style experience, contrasting with the simulation-focused cricket titles currently produced by Big Ant Studios.
