Koei Tecmo Europe and Gust have officially announced The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother. This title marks the first video game adaptation of the Japanese series and is scheduled for release on March 18, 2027.
The game features an original narrative where players follow Jinshi and Maomao. The core gameplay involves Maomao working to uncover the Five Mysteries and resolve the Five Curses, a quest that brings players into contact with various familiar characters.
Players will engage in a multifaceted experience that includes investigation and exploration phases. A unique mechanic allows users to control Jinshi or play as Maomao in cat form, which is necessary to gather specific information. Additionally, the game includes numerous side activities.
