This week brings a diverse array of new PC titles to the market, ranging from unique action RPGs to experimental city-builders. Notable releases include the limb-swapping action RPG Stupid Never Dies, led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, and the ground-based building game Star Trek: Outposts Unknown.
Stupid Never Dies features a zombie protagonist who grafts monster parts onto their body to grow stronger. The "Glorious Idiot" edition is currently available, though the base game arrives on the 23rd. Meanwhile, Cutout Village offers a city-building experience where players must cut, fold, and glue structures together.
Other releases include Athanasia, which blends Dino Crisis and System Shock, and the open-world mafia game Baron, set in Ankara. Players can also explore the metroidvania A Sister's Journey, noted for its high-quality visual effects, or engage in the co-op Antarctic escape game We Were Here Tomorrow, which requires a microphone for communication.
Square Enix has launched Final Fantasy Resonance, utilizing an "HD-2D" style with a stagger system inspired by Octopath Traveller. Additionally, Kairosoft released the management sim One Piece: Grand Gourmet, while Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest introduces turn-based battles within a procedurally generated world.
