Developer BASED KICK announced that its upcoming title HYPNOSYNC is scheduled for release on October 28. The game will be available on PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
The game functions as a rhythm-based experience where players assume the role of a manager at a mysterious arcade. Under orders from a superior, players must use hypnosis to transform visiting customers into employees by breaking their willpower in time with the music.
Once customers are hypnotized, they become loyal partners that can be developed. These partners assist the player by using skills to hypnotize other visitors and can also engage in conversations.
The title is free-to-play and includes options for purchasing in-game currency and items. Interested players can currently participate in a public playtest on Steam by requesting access through the store page.
