Key information
Iqunix has officially confirmed the development of the EV63 EDG Edition, a new keyboard variant created to honor a prominent Valorant esports team. This model features a distinct black and gold color scheme, which the manufacturer states required five rounds of collaborative fine-tuning to perfect the specific accents.
The device introduces Timing Synchronization System technology, designed to synchronize input processing with the USB polling cycle of a PC. This integration aims to provide more predictable inputs, lower latency, and consistent response times. Internal testing using HyperCore v3.1 firmware measured actuation latency between 0.29-0.30 ms and release latency between 0.26-0.27 ms.
Hardware specifications include 8,000 Hz polling, 16,000 Hz scanning, and 0.01 mm Rapid Trigger Smart Switch Adaptation. The keyboard supports Magnetic X Ultra switches for enhanced signal stability and magnetic flux. Furthermore, the Smart Switch Adaptation feature is designed to automatically recognize 99% of mainstream Hall Effect switches to facilitate easier replacements.
The EDG Edition will serve as the sixth entry in the EV63 product line, joining existing versions like the Violet and Dark Knight models. While the manufacturer has not yet disclosed an official MSRP, the company anticipates the price will likely fall within the $169 to $249 range established by previous EV63 releases.
