Key information
A viral video circulating online depicts a man reacting emotionally after receiving an ROG Astral RTX 5090 as a wedding gift. The footage shows the groom holding the high-end graphics card aloft to display it to his wedding guests.
The ROG Astral RTX 5090 is currently in short supply. While official retail pricing is difficult to determine due to a lack of standard retailers, the card is listed for upwards of $9,000 on the Newegg marketplace.
This instance is not unique, as a similar gift involving the same graphics card model was reported last year. At that time, market prices for the hardware were noted as being more reasonable.
The origin of the video remains unverified, with reports citing Baidu as the source. Due to the vague nature of these claims, the authenticity of the event cannot be confirmed.
