Acer has officially released its Predator Atlas 8 handheld console in Spain, with pricing starting at 1099 euros. First introduced in May, this Windows 11 device enters the competitive market of PC-based handhelds, positioning itself against established rivals like the Steam Deck, ROG Xbox Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go.

The console is powered by Intel Arc G3 Extreme processors, with configurations reaching the Intel Arc B390 GPU. It supports ray tracing and Intel XeSS 3 AI-driven upscaling. For thermal management, Acer utilizes a Predator AeroBlade cooling system featuring dual fans and Vortex Flow technology, while battery capacity can reach 80 Wh depending on the specific model.

The device features an 8-inch IPS touchscreen with WUXGA resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display offers 500 nits of brightness, VRR support, and Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC coating to minimize glare. Users can manage system performance and game profiles through the integrated PredatorSense application.

Running Windows 11, the Atlas 8 functions as a portable PC, allowing for the installation of various digital storefronts and external monitor connectivity. The package includes two months of XBOX Game Pass Premium. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD UHS-II card reader, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
