Amazon has officially integrated its cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna, into the Prime Video application for users in Spain. As of October 19, Amazon Prime subscribers can access a variety of video games directly through their Fire TV devices without needing a dedicated console, computer, or the requirement to download any software.

To access the service, users navigate to the new Games tab within the Prime Video interface on their Fire TV. The platform offers a selection of titles available at no additional cost to subscribers. The catalog features diverse games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin's Creed Mirage, and Sonic X Shadow Generations, with availability subject to Luna's specific access conditions.

The service also introduces GameNight, a collection of social titles like Ticket to Ride and Clue. For these games, players can utilize their smartphones as controllers by scanning an on-screen QR code, eliminating the need for extra hardware. Additionally, the integration aims to link gaming with streaming content, allowing users to discover titles related to specific movies or series, such as Batman: Caped Crusader.

Following the launch in Spain, Canada, France, and Italy, Amazon plans to expand this integration to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden in November. This rollout will complete the service's availability across all 14 countries where Luna currently operates.
