CD PROJEKT RED Japan has officially announced that game director Hideo Kojima will appear in the upcoming animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. The show is scheduled to begin streaming on October 20.
Kojima is set to voice the character Hideyoshi Oshima, a famous braindance director. This role continues his involvement with the franchise, as he previously portrayed the same character within the Cyberpunk 2077 video game.
The new series serves as the second installment in the animated franchise based on Cyberpunk 2077. The narrative is structured as an ensemble drama that explores the lives of four primary characters, including Roman Karax.
Viewers can access the series exclusively through the Netflix platform starting on its release date of October 20.
