Independent developer Yuji, operating under the name YORUROJI, has announced that the pixel-art adventure title World Without Humans will participate in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The developer also confirmed that the game will now include support for Traditional Chinese.
The narrative follows a robot named Libera that awakens after the extinction of humanity. Players guide the protagonist through a desolate yet beautiful landscape to uncover forgotten missions and gain insight into the remnants of human civilization by collecting various items.
The gameplay focuses on the journey of Libera as it explores the world until it eventually powers itself down. To provide a preview of the atmosphere, the developer has released three background music tracks from the early game on YouTube, with plans to sell a complete soundtrack after the official launch.
In addition to the previously announced Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese, the game will officially support Traditional Chinese and Korean. The full version of the title is currently scheduled for release by the end of March 2027.
