Storage and connectivity manufacturer ORICO has officially expanded into the PC market with the introduction of its debut laptop, the Obook 15 AI Laptop. The company aims to provide a competitive pricing option for students, office workers, and content creators.
The device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor featuring eight cores and 16 threads with boost speeds reaching 4.7 GHz. Graphics are managed by the integrated Radeon 680M, while memory options include 12 GB or 24 GB configurations. Storage is provided via an NVMe SSD up to 1 TB, with an additional M.2 slot supporting expansion up to 4 TB.
The laptop features a 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 IPS display, a 54.29 Wh battery, and a 100 W charger. Software integration includes the XiaoAo AI Super Agent, which incorporates 11 specialized assistants designed to automate workflows and manage knowledge bases. The system also offers selectable cooling profiles, including Eco, Normal, and Performance modes.
The Obook 15 is currently available in the United States and the Philippines. Pricing begins at $689.99 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD model, with mid-tier options at $749.99 and a top-tier configuration featuring 24 GB of memory and 1 TB of storage priced at $899.99.
