Riot Games officially introduced a new Valorant agent named Vyse during the 2026 VCT Shanghai Championship finals. This Chinese agent utilizes telekinetic powers to disrupt enemy teams and secure kills by suspending opponents in mid-air. Vyse is scheduled to join the game roster on October 27.
Game designer Nicholas Smith explained that the development team aimed to explore a duelist archetype centered on precision and control. Vyse is designed to feel constantly ahead of her opponents, using her telekinetic abilities to manipulate the environment and create strategic advantages rather than relying solely on raw power.
The agent features mechanics that allow players to redirect utility mid-air, such as her displacement and flashbang tools. Additionally, her flow ability enables self-manipulation of movement. These features provide players with significant creative freedom regarding positioning, timing, and tactical decision-making, as throwing a tool does not necessarily conclude the player's decision process.
Vyse's kit includes a displacement tool that pulls players toward a center point, a flashbang for blinding enemies, and an ability to create anchors for rapid movement. Her signature suspension ability allows players to send a projectile forward, control its direction with their crosshair, and detonate it to leave enemies floating in the air.
