Key information

Publisher IElectric announced on October 18 that the Steam version of uVolley, developed by Nick, will be removed from the store at the end of 2026. Users who add the title to their library before this deadline will retain the ability to download and play the game indefinitely.

Created by a professional volleyball player, the game simulates the sport by allowing players to control a team of six. Mechanics involve timing button presses for receives, tosses, and spikes, with automated character switching to facilitate gameplay. It supports solo play, local multiplayer, and VR-based first-person perspectives.

Steam user reviews currently hold a Mixed status, with 52% of 76 reviews being positive. Players frequently criticize the lack of in-game tutorials and high difficulty, though some praise the title for its realistic representation of volleyball mechanics.

The developer cited an inability to maintain regular updates as the reason for the delisting. While the Steam version is ending, the status of Microsoft Store and Xbox versions remains uncertain. Development of a new project, uVolley REMASTERED using Unreal Engine 5, was previously mentioned by the creator.
