Riot Games has officially introduced Hush, the 30th agent joining the tactical shooter Valorant. Hailing from China, this duelist utilizes telekinetic powers to manipulate movement paths and enemy positioning on the battlefield. The character was first revealed during the Valorant Champions Shanghai finals held on June 18.
Hush features unique mechanics centered on controlling projectiles and forcing enemy displacement. The ability 'Formation Collapse' allows players to guide projectiles toward their crosshair, pulling nearby agents toward the center upon detonation. If pulled targets collide with terrain or other players, they become concussed. Successfully securing two kills refreshes this ability.
The agent also possesses utility for mobility and vision control. 'Flashlight' blinds enemies looking toward the detonated projectile, while 'Torrent' enables aerial movement toward a set anchor. The ultimate, 'Total Halt,' lifts enemies within a specific range into the air. Additionally, a passive ability enables Hush to retrieve weapons and the Spike or activate switches from a greater distance than other agents.
Developers designed Hush to reward player judgment and precise input, as projectiles remain adjustable after firing. This focus on dynamic tactical adjustments during combat is central to the character's design. Players can expect Hush to arrive in the game on June 28.
