Smilegate Hope Studio and the Yonsei University Health System announced on the 19th that they conducted medical volunteer activities in Vietnam to assist children suffering from cleft lip and palate. This initiative aimed to provide surgical support to patients who missed treatment opportunities due to the country's challenging economic and medical conditions.

The volunteer program took place from the 15th to the 17th at the Da Nang Hospital for Women and Children. Since 2017, the two organizations have collaborated to support Vietnamese patients, benefiting approximately 2,000 children and their guardians to date.

A team of 21 participants, including 13 medical professionals led by Dean Jung Young-soo of the Yonsei University College of Dentistry and various content creators, engaged in the 'GIVE for SMILE' project. The team provided emotional support through craft activities and gift distributions, while creators shared updates via the Hope Studio YouTube channel.

Hope Studio is continuing a fundraising campaign titled 'Smile for Cleft Lip and Palate Patients' until the 10th of next month. All proceeds will be used to purchase specialized baby bottles for affected children, with no administrative costs deducted from the donations.
