Key information
Alice Games has unveiled the Steam store page for its upcoming woodworking simulation title, Made by Hand. The game tasks players with managing a personal workshop where they must manually process various types of timber to assemble furniture for online sale.
The gameplay involves precise tasks such as checking blueprints and performing measurements down to the millimeter. Players utilize specialized equipment, including lathes, to meticulously finish each individual component of their projects.
Early feedback from the ongoing playtest indicates high engagement, with some users reporting they spent an entire hour just on the sanding process. On Reddit, the community has already begun sharing technical advice on furniture construction and requesting the addition of realistic hazards like circular saw kickback.
While the game is still in development, interested players can currently access the playtest version directly through the official Steam store page to experience the woodworking mechanics firsthand.
